This Race is for the Birds is a Benefit for the Potomac Valley Audubon Society’s Education Programs.
Since 2001, Audubon has conducted programs reaching over 9,000 children through its school programs, Audubon Discovery Day Camp, and other youth programs. Adults also enjoy a wide variety of educational natural history programs.
In partnership with The Nature Conservancy, PVAS co-owns and manages the Yankauer Preserve in Berkeley County and Eidolon Preserve in Morgan County. These beautiful natural areas are open to the public from dawn to dusk daily and are used by PVAS for its programs. Both have miles of hiking trails to explore and enjoy. We encourage you to visit them!
